Field work - Werneth Low
Year 4 had a fantastic afternoon using their route map whilst walking up to Werneth Low War Memorial. We stopped at several points during our walk to observe the change in land height. We compared our observations to our map, focusing on the contour lines.
Glue Experiment
Today we recapped our glue timeline and discussed how the invention of glue has improved over time. After this, we used our knowledge to create our own glue and we then tested it's strength.
Mystery Scientist
At the start of the week, each group were assigned a scientist. Year 4's scientist sent through some photos with clues about her job. The children made prections about their job and wrote questions they would like to ask the scientist.
