Football team back after winter break
The team returned to Heywood Cup action with a 5 2 victory away at Hollingworth. Well played boys for playing well and represented the academy in the correct manner.

Reception visit to the library
Reception have walked to Hyde library to get a library card and to take out our very first book. The librarian told us all about the children’s section of the library and taught us how to check out a book by scanning it. We also listened to two lovely stories.

We looked at the characteristics of the people Lowry painted. The shape, size and coluring he created. They weren't all matchstick men and women.
Cross Country Return
A welcome break in the weather meant we could restart cross country at dinnertime. The children enjoyed a spin round the track although there were a few muddy trainers and legs!
