Year 3- Investigating rocks!

Classifying and grouping materials according to their properties
We conducted a number of tests to establish the properties of materials. We then grouoed the materials according to their properties using Venn and Carroll diagrams.
Hyde Chapel Christmas Tree
Year 4 are taking part in Hyde Chapel's Christmas Tree competition.
This years theme is 'Our Favourite Christmas Songs' and we have chosen 'Here comes Santa Clause'.

The Gift of Giving
As promised in her school council speech, one of our pupils donated lots of toys for the toy appeal last night. What a lovely thought, especially at this time of the year!

Snow much fun
This morning, 4 Willow and 4 Poplar found out the names of the elves.
4 Willow Elf on the Shelf
Today marked the first appearance of 4 Willow's Elf on the Shelf. The class came up with questions after finding the devoured advent calendar. We then found CCTV footage which showed the elf sneaking into the classroom and stealing the treats.
Who knows what he might do tomorrow?!
