Today, we enjoyed pancakes to celebrate Pancake Tuesday. Some of us chose to have golden syrup and some chose lemon and sugar as our toppings. What’s your favourite pancake topping? 

As part of our Lunar New Year celebrations we have tried some Chinese food including prawn crackers, prawn toast, sweet chilli dip, spring rolls and cow mein noodles. All the children tried at least one thing and most tried all the food. The prawn crackers were a class favourite and the sweet…

Reception have walked to Hyde library to get a library card and to take out our very first book. The librarian told us all about the children’s section of the library and taught us how to check out a book by scanning it. We also listened to two lovely stories. 
 

Look at the delicious traditional Diwali sweets that we made in class. These are called Coconut Ladoo and are made from desiccated coconut and condensed milk. The sweets were super sweet but we enjoyed them as a special treat!
