This week, Year 5 took part in lots of fantastic Science week activities.
We started the week with a Teams meeting with a mystery scientist: David the Process Engineer.
We designed logos for the 'Logo Lift off' competition
We then shared our Science selfie challenge photos and videos.
Throughout the week, we have also completed different science investigations, including 'separating mixtures', and a project called Standing on the shoulders of giants, in which we investigated Galileo's pendulum and the history of telling the time.
We finished the week with a fantastic Space day, in which we designed, made and launched our own mini rockets. We also saw the Skybolt 2 rocket, and watched real rocket launches on the school field.
A fabulous end to a fabulous week!
