History Van visit
Today, Year 6 had a visit from the History Van.
The children thought they were arriving in school in 2022 this morning but in fact, they were taken back in time to 1940 and it was in the middle of WW2.

Nursery's trip to the farm

Year 2 Maple - African Masks part 1
This term our topic is Manchester and Nairobi, and within this we have read the book Lila and the Secret of the Rain. Today we started to make some African Masks and began by drawing our design, then using paper mache to make the first stage.

Year 2 Maple - sports day
What a fabulous time we had on our sports day, thank you to all our parents for coming.
Sports' Day fun for Year 6
For the first time in a long time, Sports' Day went off on the first original day as planned.
The children all ran in the egg and spoon race, sack, space hopper, wheelbarrow, 3-legged and running relay.

Times Table Check Complete
Today Year 4 completed their Times Table check. They have worked incredibly hard since September to retain their maths facts and have been doing lots of additional practise at home. We had a lovely time celebrating with an extra play.

Year 4 have been practising the running stitch and backstitch in DT before sewing their bags on Thursday
Year 1 - Dance
Year 1 enjoyed their Dance lesson with Sophie, we are learning a dance routine to a Spice Girls song. We learnt part of it on Wednesday. Ask us to show you what we have learnt so far!
Designing a new front cover for The Lonely Beast book
