Year 1 - Art
For our Art project we are going to design a Koinoburi kite from Japan. This week we began to look at colours and patterns and we created a mood board to gather ideas for our design.
Year 1 - Finding a quarter of a number
During Maths we have been finding what a quarter of a shape, quantity and number is. We used 2 different methods to find out these. We used the 'chop and chop' again method and the sharing method.
Caterpillars no more!
Our caterpillars have moved on to the next stage in their life cycle and are now beginning to form the chrysalis. They still look like caterpillars but that will soon change. Keep checking back for the next transformation.

Food Tech
We got some hands on experience of Greek cooking with our Greek biscuits. It looks serious stuff, making sure all the ingredients are correct and mixed together correctly. They obviously were as the biscuits did not last long at all!
